IAAPS
IAAPS is a world-leading centre of excellence for research and innovation of clean, efficient and affordable zero carbon propulsion technologies.

IAAPS was created as a secure environment for collaborative research and validation. It offers unrivalled expertise and innovation capabilities to safely develop new hydrogen fuel technologies from fundamental research to new product development, harnessing the potential H2 offers.
The IAAPS site encompasses a green H2 production and storage facility and, following further investment, is establishing a range of additional capabilities to support the development and testing of H2 and LH2 technologies. These technologies will have far reaching impact and be vital in achieving net zero targets and reducing the global reliance on carbon, especially in the hard to electrify sectors such as aviation, heavy-duty and off-highway.
IAAPS has a track record of undertaking research which has real world CO2-reduction impact, creating the technologies, tools and systems needed in the transition to green and sustainable mobility.
IAAPS is based at the Bristol & Bath Science Park. A commercial subsidiary of the University of Bath, the £70m centre boasts 11,300 m2 of state-of-the-art test facilities and research cells.
